There are two types of bets placed in sportsbooks - Straight Wager Lines and Special Lines.
STRAIGHT WAGER LINES
A line is the set of rules used to calculate results and payouts of straight wagers. The four standard line types are listed below.
SPECIAL LINES
The following are the so-called special lines and these are made available to bettors to increase flexibility and potential payouts.
